Below is a Q&A with one of the fastest rising prospects in the northeast. Scouting Services are raving about Chris Fitzgerald, so we had a moment to catch up with him at the Hall of Fame Tournament. this is what he had to say.
Q: What are you going to work on the most this summer?
A: This summer I need to work on conditioning and strength. Obviously skill work for basketball is a priority also, but I need to be in much better shape to compete against prep school competition.
Q: Are you being recruited yet?
A: I have not received much recruitment interest.
Q: What type of year did you have at Joseph Case?
A: This year at Case was tough. We had no players with varsity experience besides a senior shooting guard that had to play out of position at the point and myself. I was among league leaders in scoring and rebounding.
Q: What are your summer plans? Camps? AAU Tournaments?
A: This summer I don't have any plans other than a few AAU tournaments and maybe a camp.
Q: Are you excited to being going to Northfield Mount Hermon next year?
A: I am very excited about going to Northfield Mount Hermon next year. I will need to put in a lot of hard work both in the classroom and into becoming a better basketball player, but that is something I want to do.
